  1. I just bought book 1 and am looking forward to reading it. This is the first book that I have read with shifters in Missouri. I live in St. Joe.

I am originally from Iowa, but have been a transplant here since 2000.

Anyway....I am really looking forward to reading this series.

    1. Hi Deb!
I'm so glad you're giving my shifters a try! And I hope I do Missouri justice. Don't know why there aren't more shifter stories based in the Ozarks. It's a perfect setting, in my humble opinion. ;)

I'm excited to hear what you think! Thanks for commenting! :)

    1. Hi Rosemary! Yes, the ending did leave a few loose ends, and those will be wrapped up in book two. I wanted to give readers a satisfying ending while keeping the plot open for the next story. The release date for book two isn't set in stone yet, but I'm working furiously on it. I can only say for sure it will be available this month. You can sign up for my newsletter (top of the page) and get a notification as soon as book two is ready. Thanks for reading!! :)

  10. Oh, my gosh. After Aubrey Rose's Blind Wolf series this is my favourite shifter book. And I have read hundreds of shifter books. Not very often do I like the heroine's character as much as the hero's character. There wasn't the constant "I love you I hate you I love you I hate you" throughout the book. Kerrigan was so sweet and she handled Tragen quite well. Tragen was a real stand up, realistic guy. They both showed their vulnerable sides.
    P. Jameson , your dry sense of humour was so funny. You did a great job on this book. As soon as I finished it I went to Amazon to see what else you've written and was so sad to see only one book. What have you been doing all these years?
I absolutely can't wait to read book two. Please hurry. Type faster. Don't sleep. Don't eat. Don't even breath. Just TYPE!
Thank you for sharing your awesome creativity.

It was great to see Kerrigan and Tregan in this book. I hope Cael will be in book three. He turned out differently than I'd expected.

  40. I was wondering if you were still planning to continue with the Starborn series? I thought Daybreaker was coming out in October but then highly enjoyable Ouchita Mountain Shifters series began. I only ask because I loved Starwalker. I cried and cried during that book and have been curious about what happens next.

    Replies
    1. Oh, Katie! I'm so happy you liked Starwalker. I've been so attached to that story and it was a hard one for me to let into the world because I wasn't sure how it would be received. It's those books I hold close that are the hardest. Unfortunately it was not a very successful release, which is why I moved on to the Ouachita series instead of releasing book two. HOWEVER, I do certainly plan on finishing the series. The schedule has just been rearranged. The next book in the Starborn series will release next year (tentatively February). Thank you so much for asking about it. You put a smile on my face!

      Delete
    2. I am really surprised it was not a successful release. It is different than your shifter novels, but its outstanding. Who could not be touched by Canna's carved words, and Breckken's own pain. The scene after they first meet, buckets of tears! It has really stuck with me. And why would Davian do that to his own Heartbeat, but he has got to have a plan, right?. And how will Gilleth and Emmalyn find there way, losing so many years. So I am so relieved to hear that I will find out what happens. Otherwise I was afraid I might have to pester you into telling me what you planned to happen next. I cannot wait to read it! Thank you so much!!

  58. Hi!
So glad I found your series, Once I started the Ouachita series I had to read them all. Great pace to the books, wonderful characters had me smirking and laughing out loud (much to the annoyance of some train commuters!) ;) Im going backwards now though and going to start the DTD books.
Is Mason going to have a book? or the Bears, it feels there is unfinished business to the Sorcera's that came in the last book. I've signed up to the Newsletter and will be keeping an eye out. Very much looking forward to working through all your other books - thats me sorted for the weekend!
    Take Care

    1. Hi there! Thrilled to hear you enjoyed the Ozark series! They hold a special place in my heart since they were the first of my shifters. I have considered revisiting the Ozarka and Ravendale packs, and that's something that might happen in the future if those characters start chattering in my ear again. Anything is possible! Thanks so much for letting me know your thoughts! Happy reading!

  64. I love all your series but I just completed starwalker, and I am in complete live with this concept. It stated in the book that day walker was schedule for release October 2015, and I searched for it and couldn't find it. Then I read you reschedule it release for February 2016 and it is now May 2016. Do you have a estimate time when it will be released? I really would lovedo to read more of this world.

    1. Hi Venus! I'm so very happy you loved Starwalker. I absolutely loved writing it. In the beginning I planned for the sequel to be out in October, but when I realized that wasn't going to work, I gave an estimated time of spring 2016. And unfortunately, those characters weren't speaking to me yet. My muse can be tough to wrangle sometimes, which is why I never give a specific release date anymore. Instead, I do my best to estimate a time frame. That being said, there will for certain be a Starborn story releasing in October 2016 as part of an anthology. And I'm hoping to have Daybreaker out for you by NO LATER (HOPEFULLY!) the end of the year. I hope that helps! And I'm truly honored you enjoyed Starwalker so much. That book held a special place in my heart. Thank you for letting me know. <3
